The main purpose of root canal treatment is to fill all gaps without leaving any residue in the root.
In order for the root canal treatment to be successful, it is necessary to clean and fill all nerve spaces that are normally not accessible with mechanical devices. With the LASER / SWEEPS technique, which has been developed in recent years, the success of canal treatment can be increased by clearing the nerves of all these areas of nerve extensions and filling these gaps with canal filling materials. In this way, it is possible to reduce the risk of infection and activate the ability of body biology to treat and make the treatment healthy.
There are small canals and deltas in the root of the tooth next to the main canal. Most of the problems with teeth are caused by these canals not being cleaned well.
With the laser PIPS / SWEEPS technique, it is possible to clean the most difficult and narrow canals by improving the biological tissue around the tooth and preventing a new infection. In this method, unlike the classical method, the tissues that support the tooth in the root become thinner. In this way, we reduce the risk of root fracture.
Dental roots can anatomically vary from person to person. For this reason, different numbers and shapes of canals can be seen in the root. Being able to see these canals in detail increases the success of the treatment. The main reason for the failure of previous root canal treatments is that the canals could not be detected and their nerve could not be removed and therefore not filled. In addition, it may be possible to detect very small cracks and fracture lines that cannot be seen even with 3D imaging technique by detecting them with a microscope or to diagnose shooting without unnecessary effort and time.
